Parts of Speech Boom Cards™

I have been creating Boom Cards™ for a few years now, mostly for my children to use.  They have become very popular in my house during the Corona Virus pandemic where they mostly learn at home with online school.  We used the Parts of Speech Boom Cards to practice these key concepts.

How I used the Parts of Speech Boom Cards…

I developed these Parts of Speech Boom Cards™ for my daughter to complete while I was busy with my son.  He is in first grade and needs a lot of assistance with his work.  She was able to complete the decks on her own.  Boom Learning gives immediate feedback so she could learn from her mistakes.  I could also review the report at the end to see how she did.

I also used these decks for my ESL online students.  We are able to complete them during the lesson, with me having mouse control, or I send them the link of the deck and they complete it at home.  I am able to see their progress in the report that Boom Learning™ makes available to me and can therefore see if they have grasped the concept.

This activity also encourages them to read the words and apply the words to the pictures.

There are four decks: Nouns, Verbs, Prepositions and Adjectives.  Each deck contains 20 cards.

Each card has a picture on it.  The student needs to read the options given and select the correct option.
